Born August 15, 1915 in New Orleans La. Became a doorman on Bourbon St. at the age of 15 when his father past away. Served in World War II as a sergeant in the infintery. Came home with two purple hearts and a bronze star. Had the first air conditioned baroom poolhall, to let blacks in the front door.Located uptown near Prytania and First St. In the early 50's started a condom vending machine business throughout the french quarter and surrounding areas. The business faded throughout the 70's 80's and 90's. He lost his life due too the flooding of Lakeview the morning after Katrina, when the 17th St. cansl collased flooding the house to the ceiling within 10 minutes.
